Green in Winter

I was strolling through the Historic Site and happened to glance through one bush into the next bush and noticed the darnedest thing - green leaves sprouting. I have no idea what type of bush it is (yet) and why the leaves were blooming after this nasty, windy cold snap we had. But I found it somehow inspirational. Corny... I know.
